Maaaake Squid Jerky!

Note: you will either love this or hate this.  It is definitely “Squidy” or “Seafoody”
((yes, those are real words, lol –not))

Ingredients
  • 2 cups dried, shredded Squid (cut into 2″ pieces if it bothers you)
  • 3 tb of Paste (recipe below)
  • 2 ts Sesame Oil
  • 2 ts Sesame Seed
  • 2 tb Honey or Brown Sugar
  • (Green Onions/Scallions are optional)
To make the Paste:
  • 2-3 tb Pepper Paste (Gochujang)
  • 1 tb Garlic
  • ½ ts Ginger
  • ½ ts Fish Sauce
  • ½ ts Soy Sauce

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, dump everything in it and press it all together with your gloved hands. You want to squeeze and massage until it’s a nice rosy color.
  2. I promise, it’s that easy.

    I happen to like squid jerky – I’m the only one in the family who does :) Grew up with that stuff!
