Eats in a Week

December 10, 2012 by The Squishy Monster

I think the worst part of having your teeth pulled is not being able to eat what you want (at least for me anyways).  As soon I was able, I hit the ground running and went a bit crazy, I think and gobbled up everything in sight.

This is all that a very hungry Squishy Monster eats in a week.

Lemongrass Chicken

Tom Yum Soup, Edamame, Squid Salad

Summer Rolls + Almond Cookies

Aunties Rice Cake Soup {Ddeukguk}

Spinach Gyoza

Mee krob (and tuna roll)

Mango Shrimp

Scallop Pud Puk

Fried Oreos

Oreo Cheesecake

Carrot Ginger Soup

Lentil Burger

Beet Juice

Steak Burrito Bowl

The best hummus I’ve had in town.

Gyro

Trout and Veggies

I do believe I polished off an entire plate of steak, veggies, 2 corn muffins, a bowl of cheesy grits and a kids stack of  buttermilk pancakes that night.  Oh yes–it was a good night.

This is about how much a Squishy Monster eats in a week…give or take a few midnight snacks and munchies to keep me going throughout the day.

Love & lots of food!

Your Squishy Monster ^.~

  1. Wowzers! Look at all of that good food. I apologize for being out of circulation for so long. It’s been busy around here with the holidays and getting ready to go back to school. I still have to replace a laptop and am not sure what to go with. I’m not as tech savvy as I used to be. As long as it runs my GIS programs it’ll work.

Now that everything is winding down, I’ll have more time to catch up on my favorite book, aka your blog;) I never thought I’d meet someone with a love affair toward food to match mine. I thought I was the only one all fifty shades of kitchen-aid. ~.^

But enough about me… I’m glad your healed up and back in the saddle with a healthy appetite. Your food spreads look great! That lemongrass chicken looks mighty delish. Is that a type of carrot soup on the side? Oh my fried oreos and oreo cheesecake? Such sweet treats indeed. Where they homemade? We made some double-decker cookies over the holiday. Baked some Newman-Os hint-o-mint inside of some chocolate chip cookies. They turned out better than I had expected, I like it when that happens. I had an idea for a cheesecake of sorts if I knew how to dish it out, vanilla chai cheesecake using traditional crust with a hint of cinnamon. That steak burrito bowl has officially changed my plans for dinner. It looks filling indeed.

    Thanks for sharing your eats!!
